Gioco is a relaxed fresh pasta bar near Hanoi's French Quarter—fast enough for lunch, special enough for dinner.

We make our pasta in-house, pair it with honest Italian sauces, and leave space for a few ideas inspired by the city around us. No theatre. No overcomplication. Just generous plates, warm service and food worth coming back for.

The story

Italian roots. A Hanoi rhythm.

Gioco began with a simple memory: fresh pasta made with patience, shared without ceremony, and always served with warmth.

The name means “play” in Italian. It captures how we cook—respecting tradition while staying curious. That means a proper carbonara beside a miso version, slow-cooked ragù alongside fragrant herbs and spices, and a room designed to feel polished but never precious.
